It started with a simple need—more space.
In the same room that you watch our productions, we build sets, rehearse shows, hold meetings, present staged readings, and workshop plays—sometimes all in one day. Frequently, our best-selling shows can’t be extended because we must use the stage to construct the next production on our schedule.
Using one space for so many purposes strains our infrastructure and limits our potential for growth.
Common sense said it was time to find a solution. And we have! The space we needed turned up just on the other side of our wall. We signed a long-term lease on a former retail space directly adjacent to our offices. We’ve drawn up plans to break through the wall and build a multi-purpose rehearsal space and new offices. Construction began on January 13, 2009 and will take approximately five months.
