On Monday night, we celebrated Jonathan Spector's Eureka Day going from Berkeley to Broadway! Aurora's world premiere cast performed a reading of the new Broadway draft of the script, on stage at Berkeley Rep's Roda Theatre. Ticket sales, our online auction, and donations at the event raised over $50,000 to support Aurora's 2024/2025 Season. Huge thanks to Berkeley Rep, Aurora's staff and volunteers, and to everyone who joined the celebration.

We are hiring!

LX Programmer ($25/hr)

Board programming on ION Console during focus, tech, dress, and previews. Proficiency with the ETC Eos family of consoles, data, DMX devices, and moving lights. Previous experience supervising and training crews. Strong knowledge of safe stage rigging practices, and comfortable working on catwalks, ladders, and lifts.

Approx. 16-40 hr/wk depending on week. Hours are mostly between 12p-10p.

Come celebrate EUREKA DAY opening on Broadway!

We are doing a stage reading with the original cast and then a lively discussion with playwright Jonathan Spector.

Location: Berkeley Rep's Roda Theatre (two doors down from Aurora on Addison Street)

Aurora commissioned, developed, and premiered EUREKA DAY in 2018. This special night reunites the original cast (Elizabeth Carter, Charisse Loriaux, Lisa Anne Porter, Rolf Saxon, and Teddy Spencer), along with video designer Teddy Hulsker (yes -- we're doing the Facebook scene) and director Josh Costello, for a reading of the new Broadway draft of the script.
