Mondays are traditionally the day the theatre is dark, but this July we're turning on the lights and inviting you to join us for social evenings of fun and friendship with our Aurora community! Monday Night Socials are a chance for us to open up our doors outside of performance to spend time and engage with our local community members.

Game Night - July 7

Aurora Theatre Company is excited to host another Game Night! We want to invite you – our audience, friends, and neighbors – to connect with us and each other through a different kind of play as we solve puzzles, flip cards, and trade tokens together. We will have some games on site. Please feel free to bring your own favorites to share! 

Gaming will start at 7pm. The event is free to attend and to participate. Concessions will be open with beer, wine, and snacks. To support Aurora in continuing to create events like this, you can make a donation of $10 (or more!) online or in-person.

 

Goonies Puzzle Night

Hey you guyysss!!! Calling all Goonies, we’re getting together to celebrate all of the shenanigans and crazy Goonie-esque adventures we’ve been on here at Aurora. Brush up on your Goonies trivia, dress up as your favorite character, and join us for a social night of puzzles, silly fun, and maybe even some rich stuff!

Open Mic Night

We’re having another Open Mic Night! We’ve been loving turning over our platform over to you – our audience, friends, and neighbors – and amplifying the voices of the vibrant community that surrounds us!  All performance types welcome: music, comedy, storytelling, poetry, monologues, and whatever else you can think of to share!

Sign-ups will start at 7pm with performances starting at 7:30 in our upstairs performance space. Each slot should be about 5-6 minutes. The event is free to attend and to participate.
