The safety and wellbeing of Aurora Theatre Company’s staff and artists is paramount. We follow all health and safety guidelines recommended by the state and our union partners regarding infectious diseases for cleaning procedures and suggested PPE to ensure the safety of everyone in our spaces. Aurora’s spaces are intimate so policies may change quickly as new data becomes available.

• We require that all Aurora Theatre Company employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. 
• Currently, masking is optional except at select performances. Aurora reserves the right to revert to mandatory masking at any time should community transmission rates or other considerations warrant.
• At masked performances, masks will be required in the building at all times. This includes all audience members, ushers, staff, and artists other than the actors while they are on stage performing.
• For all other performances, masks will be encouraged but not required.
• If you are feeling unwell and/or experiencing a cough, runny nose, fever, you should stay home. Following CDC guidelines, we request our audience members do not attend performances or events if you have COVID or any other contagious respiratory virus.
• These policies are subject to change at any time.

Due to the intimacy of our space, social distancing inside the theater and lobby is not possible. Audiences will be attending performances at their own risk; Aurora Theatre Company assumes no responsibility for the possibility of infectious disease transmission at our theatre.

We recognize that the lifting of any Public Health Emergency status does not mean that risk from COVID-19 and other infectious diseases is not present, and we are still committed to taking measures to protect our artists, staff, and patron community. There is still a possibility that programming and performance dates may be affected by local health orders, or changing health situations. In the event of any changes, ticket holders will be notified as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
